What is Search.searchtmp.com? And how does it work?

Search.searchtmp.com, also known as “Track My Package” is offered as a legitimate program that claims to allow users in tracking down the delivery status of their packages. In its interface, you can see a couple of links that include “Track Packages”, U.S. Postal Service, UPS and FedEx which makes it look legitimate just like a typical browser extension. It works on several browsers like Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge and many more.
