Finally, after months of anticipation, Microsoft has decided to give Windows 7 users the program they’ve been screaming for: Internet Explorer 11.
Nah, just kidding. Microsoft released IE11 to limited fanfare last week. IE11 is now available in 95 different languages for Windows 7. Windows 8.1 users received the update on October 17, and Windows 7 users received it just a few weeks after.
If you’re an existing Internet Explorer user, then you’ll like what IE11 has to offer. If you don’t use Internet Explorer, then there may not be a lot of good reasons to switch (despite Microsoft’s fervent “give it a try” campaign and efforts to get people to switch).

With all that being said, Microsoft has invested a lot of time and money into making IE11 its best browser ever. Changes include:
-Better performance, including faster page loading and faster JavaScript performance
-Reduced resource usage
-Better battery life when used on mobile devices
-Better privacy and security
-Better reliability

Microsoft is advertising that IE11 is 9% faster than IE10 when it comes to JavaScript performance. At the same time, Microsoft claims IE10 is “nearly 30% faster” than any other major browser in JavaScript performance.
