Microsoft is holding a Windows 10 event on October 26, where industry analysts expect the company to lay out a roadmap for Windows 10’s future.
However, other reports suggest that Microsoft is gearing up for some big product launches at the October 26 event. One of those product launches is the so-called Surface Studio, a groundbreaking all-in-one desktop system featuring the Surface’s name.
Rumors have been flying ever since it was revealed that Microsoft filed an FCC request for both a keyboard and mouse in Surface gray. Meanwhile, a Microsoft-affiliated company reportedly trademarked the name “Surface Studio”, according to the folks at The Trademark Ninja.
Others – including Windows Central – believe that the Surface Studio will come pre-packaged with a Surface Dial, which could be a Surface peripheral similar to a Wacom remote. It would let artists store their most-used shortcuts for easy access.
In any case, the all-in-one (AIO) system comes with few details thus far. Some believe that it will have a 27-inch 4K display, similar to the Acer Revo Build. Most believe that the AIO will also feature a front-facing camera that supports Windows Hello – which means you’ll be able to open your computer and have it instantly login when it recognizes your face.
